There You Go +3

Columbia

The Perfect Kellulight . That’s the title of the album that these remixes came from, three of them plus a cover of the Who’s “Anyway Anyhow Anywhere.” Anyway, these four are practically interchangeable tunes, laden with sticky sweet vocals, the music clean, driven, straightforward but interesting, landing somewhere between bubble gum and heavy pop ’70s metal. Aurally, picture Imperial Drag (minus the Big Star Badfinger ’70s funk chop) hooking up with Riff Raff ( Rocky Horror ) to do anthemic Radiohead songs.

Screen Reviews

Set in the year 2700 in the imaginary city of Asche, Flaming Ears is a daring micro-budget sci-fi film from 1991 that envisioned a dystopian urban landscape that now seems eerily familiar. Lily and Generoso share their thoughts on the film’s new 4K restoration.
