Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Classics

South Park Cast

American/CBS

If there’s one thing that South Park ‘s supporters and detractors can agree on, it’s that the show is the most offensive half-hour of television currently in production (though Fox’s Action did provide some stiff competition in its brief tenure). The show’s creators have a habit of not just going over the line, but strapping on a rocket pack and aiming for the distant horizon.

The music on here is no exception. Mr. Hankey, the Christmas poo, may sometimes be corny, and he may sometimes be nutty, but unlike the spirit of the season, he’s definitely something that is inside all of us. If you would like to hear the forlorn wishes of a starry-eyed child dreaming of a Swiss Colony Beef Log, or Adolf Hitler singing “O Tannenbaum,” you know where to find it.
