Chixdiggit

From Scene to Shining Scene

Honest Don’s

Yeah. Love that Canadian power pop. Chixdiggit have not changed much over the years, busy perfecting their Ramones-touched songs and tightening up their already tight structures. As tight as it gets, it’s still all about having fun, and sometimes that’s all you really need. Little keyboard solos and heavy-metal riffs slipping into the mix, and the hooks are so bright, you gotta wear shades. The backing vocals get stuck in your head, and yeah… you’re still having fun. With lyrics like “She was sweaty and hairless, glistening and careless,” how can you take it seriously? It’s rock and roll, man, so just grab some of that Canadian beer and enjoy the summer.
