Testing Underway

Bong Load

Something about the vocals here reminds me of Jim Carroll, and in a good way. The music is a bit surf twang rock, with lotsa pop, and then the music changes. It gets a bit rougher, kinda hand clapping garage pop, and kinda dirty, and I kinda like it. It’s got that New York groove• those vocals slide, back-up singers swinging, and it’s like some spy movie Johnny Thunders flashback, and I’m waiting for the Dolls to stop in for a guest appearance. It takes me back to a place I’ve never lived, and I don’t mind.

Archikulture Digest

Blood, guts, and kicking butt in France — it’s the age-old story of Shakespeare. Carl F. Gauze once again enjoys the salacious violence and complicated plot points of Henry V, in the moody dark of Orlando Shakes.
