Electronic Chillage

Global Trance Excursions

Neurodisc

Another notch on the proverbial belt of the trance music overload. Electronic Chillage is indeed chilled, but not in the “drinking iced tea in the Hamptons” kind of way you’d hope for. It’s just downright cold; with impersonal continuous trance normality and unoriginal samples, it’s the bad side of what trance becomes when creativity leaves the recipe. Basically, this CD has nothing that any other trance CD doesn’t – it’s your basic, run-of-the-mill body moving, beat extending trance collection. If you’re a fan of any of the artists on the disc, such as Canyon, Blu Peter, Denzel D, JohnJohn, C.L. McSpadden, and Pedro & Benno, then it might be worth checking out, but not what I would suggest if you’re looking for a very inventive trance CD. It’s good for what it is, but doesn’t push the electronic envelope quite enough for my tastes.
