Tierney Sutton

Blue In Green

Telarc

Blue In Green features fourteen songs that were written by or somehow connected to the late Bill Evans, interpreted by silky smooth vocalist Tierney Sutton. Tracks on Blue In Green range from standards like “Someday My Prince Will Come” to the unheard “Old Devil Moon.” Tierney Sutton has a truly remarkable voice, and that voice is certainly put through its paces – some of the compositions seem to defy a vocalist, but Sutton somehow manages to wrap the words around the intricate and complex melodies.
