The Sound of the Crowd

To all my friends on the California shore

As Tim Robbins said the other night on the daily show, I’m the last one to say actors shouldn’t get involved with politics, but, Schwarzenegger? Really? You think The Running Man is going to save you from the rich oilmen who sold you out? Fortunately most of my friends are from Northern California, where most voters opposed the recall and Schwarzenegger. It’s southern Californa–hello, Corey–that tipped the election. Well, enjoy the next few years, and remember two things. One, people from Florida are laughing at you, and two, Schwarzenegger can’t run for President unless we change that “born in this country” thing. Which some are trying to do–see entry “Aaaah!” below.
