Elgy to Clark
I like what the voter quoted in the first paragraph of this story has to say. No, it doesn’t look like Clark is the man to unseat George W. Bush, which we desperately need to do, but I hope whoever does finds a valuable place for him in their administration. Secretary of State, say.
And then there were three. Consider the dilemma of the modern liberal, or at least, this modern liberal. The candidate I probably agree with most–Dean–is getting worse numbers than Clark, who’s out. The candidate I probably “like” the best–Edwards–is almost a mortal lock on the number two spot. And the candiate I agree with least, and “like” more than Dean but less than Edwards–Kerry, of course–is the presumptive nominee.
Consider the dilemma of the modern liberal.
