But according to a Dr. Glen Harold Stassen, who describes himself as “…a Christian ethicist, and trained in statistical analysis. I am consistently pro-life,” the abortion rate, which went down when Clinton was president, has actually gone up under Bush.
He posits three possible reasons for this, all having to do with the economy or health care. I think he’s probably right about those, but he leaves out the first thing I thought of, which is that under Bush safe sex education in high schools has been severely curtailed.
But anyway, I wonder what would have happened if Kerry had dropped that little piece of information during one of the debates?
