The Sound of the Crowd

Oh, for the love of sweet christ

“Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) “is staking out a position on illegal immigration that is more conservative than President Bush, a strategy that supporters and detractors alike see as a way for the New York Democrat to shake the ‘liberal’ label and appeal to traditionally Republican states…”

From The Washington Times via Political Wire.

Ok, is there anybody out there who thinks Hilary has a chance in hell of appealing to traditionally Republican states even if she supports everything from the death penalty to Halliburton, and gets “tough on crime?”

I think I just made up my mind where I come down on the Hiliary in ‘08 question: No thanks (even given that the story apparently comes from the WA Times, generally reckoned to be a Republican mouthpiece). Next time, I want a liberal Democrat.
