The Sound of the Crowd

See what happens when I leave the world unsupervised for a coupl

ETA: As usual, Josh Marshall has a good question or two about all this.

I’ve been offline since friday afternoon–finally had to have my PC power supply replaced. As a result, I only caught the beginning of the Kerik meltdown. But I’m not gonna miss my chance to gloat now.

To sum up:

Bush and company nominated a man to be head of an agency concerned with national security. A man who may have been in with the mob.

A man for whom there is definitely an arrest warrant out, still valid, and who has conducted two extramarital affairs, one with publisher Judith Regan. Ms. Regan, BTW, is one of those conservatives who made the most meanspirited and hateful remarks about the Clinton/Lewinsy scandal.

Ah, the GOP. Up there on the moral high ground. Must be nice.
