The Sound of the Crowd

More on christian and republican sensitivity

Pun intended. From Bill Berkowitz on Working For Change:

“Organizations which are amazingly quick to organize to fight against same-sex marriage, a woman’s right to choose, and embryonic stem cell research are missing in action when it comes to responding to the disaster in southern Asia.”

And as AmericaBlog points out: “The Democratic National Committee Web site has an appeal for donations to tsunami victims right up at the top of the DNC home page. The Republican National Committee Web site doesn’t even mention the disaster, though it does have a lovely story about President Bush, inappropriately titled “Rising Tide.”
