It’s really an honor just to be nominated
The nominations for Wampum’s “Koufax Awards” are now up. Improbably, this blog has been nominated in the category of “Most Deserving of Wider Recognition.”
Don’t get too excited…I think every blog that anyone wrote in and mentioned gets listed for this round. I don’t expect to make the cut when they narrow it down to a top 10 or so.
But that does not mean that I’m not emotionally needy enough to ask you to head on over there and vote for your old pal The Sound of the Crowd. To prove to me, in the words of Dan Connor’s bowling team:
“There’s someone worse than us! There’s someone worse than us!”
