The Sound of the Crowd

To coin a phrase…

What liberal media? Ann Coulter lies, distorts, is generally a traitor to her sex (and a disgrace to the name Ann, of which I’m rather fond), and gets on the cover of Time.

As David Sirota writes, “This is a woman who advocating blowing up the New York Times offices and claimed Vietnam war hero/triple amputee Max Cleland didn’t deserve to be honored for his losing his limbs on the battlefield.”

Which I certainly agree makes her a questionable choice for Time’s anointment. But he goes on to ask:

“When was the last time you saw someone of equal (if not more) importance on the left promoted on the cover of America’s mainstream magazines?”

Well, there were those couple of covers Michael Moore was on last year, including Time itself, if memory serves me well, certainly Entertainment Weekly, I think Rolling Stone…
