The Sound of the Crowd

That’s why they called him Slick Willie

Ok, some background. In case you haven’t seen it, Arthur Finkelstein, a powerful Republican consultant, reportedly married his gay lover this past weekend.

Finkelstein is currently active in a “Stop Hilary” campaign, and Bill Clinton took some shots at at him today, saying:

“Either this guy believes his party is not serious [about opposing same-sex marriages] and is totally Machiavellian in his position or there’s some sort of self-loathing there…”

Well, great. Except that I know Clinton encouraged Kerry to sell out gays in the last days of campaign 2004.

The devil take this freakishly good memory of mine.
