Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion
Turtles might move slowly, but they have a lot of grace when they float in blue water, and they sure can certainly have colorful dreams. This is exactly the feeling evoked by the new kaleidoscopic EP from Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion.
The EP features five cuts, including the astonishing opening track, “The Wind.” This song is a soothing introduction to a record that’s packed with different sounds and ideas. For example, “Ultimos Momentos” has got a contrasting mood when compared to the previously mentioned song, yet it is clear to hear that they both fit within the very same picture. There is something truly special about the vividly transcendent sound of each track, with the instrumentation taking Espinoza’s vision to the next level. This EP embodies the traditional heat of the best flamenco music, but it adds the extra spice of fusion to breathe extra life into the songs and connect with the audience in such a way that’s even more rewarding.
