The Brunching Shuttlecocks

Comedy – With a “Runch!”

http://www.brunching.com

Updated every weekday, the Brunching Shuttlecocks satirize and lampoon everything from the ridiculous to the sublime. Highlights include the Ratings (“French Food You Suck On,” “Piggies,” and the long-running “Breakfast Cereals”), brilliant Page Toys like “Smilin’ Willy Gates” (where you can customize Bill Gates to say anything you want – in a poll it was revealed that the most popular saying was “Kneel Before Zod”) and “The Alanis Morisette Lyric Generator” (an angry, angry lyric generator). Brunching.com is also home to the soon-to-be-infamous “Bjork Song.”

You can test your knowledge on various subjects as well. “Porn Star or My Little Pony” challenges you to determine which name belongs to a cherished ’80s pop-culture toy or a tawdry adult film star. You might also try your hand at “Christian Metal Band or Star Trek Episode?” or “Elvis Movie or Cocktail?”

The Brunching Shuttlecocks also features movie reviews by the Self-Made Critic, Good or Bad (where you can submit your votes on whether things like tiny hotel soaps, trees, and the song “Froggy Went A-Courtin’” are good or bad) and Features such as “Fun With Food” and “Satan on Punctuation” (do not cross Lucifer on the use of semicolons).

Although it is yet to be determined what a “Brunching Shuttlecock” IS, exactly, you’re sure to be amused while trying to find out.
