Universe 4 Collection

Hearts Of Space

For those unfamiliar with the Hearts of Space public radio show or the artists played regularly therein, Universe 4 Collection is an exquisite place to hear why it’s been a mainstay of the airwaves since 1983. Each genre of music has their tried and true war-horses who continually pump out beautiful and captivating music, and the new age genre is no exception. Kevin Braheny, Raphael, Al Grohmer, Constance Demby, Paul Sauvanet and about a half dozen others are represented on this mid-price sampler. Featuring an elegant palette of textured sounds and styles, Universe 4 Collection effortlessly switches between whale sounds, sitar, Celtic choruses, sweeping whooshes and unidentifiable nature sources… all with dazzling results. If you enjoy electronic music, ambient, world music, new age, or even Yanni and Enya for that matter, you will be hard-pressed to find a better sampler of relaxing music this year. With Christmas just around the corner, do not hesitate to enlighten Grandma’s or your parent’s horizon. Or, you could cultivate your children’s understanding of music even further with this fabulous release. You just can’t go wrong. Hearts Of Space, P.O. Box 31321, San Francisco, CA 94131
