Dreams of Tomorrow

I guess when most Americans think of Australia they think of kangaroos and koalas, and not a place with a strong and self-sufficient metal scene. Yet it’s true! This Australian quartet from Brookvale, New South Whales (no American who reads this will know what it means) went out of their way to ship me this four-song disc all the from Down Under. These guys have managed to put out a disc of tunes that can hold its own to any metal release of today. They have a good sense of melody, while showing that they are intelligent enough to handle off-time rhythms. Another impressive measure is the quality of the production of the album; I challenge anyone to come up with the money to produce an album like this on their own. Think about that and the fact that they did it outside of America, where something like this will cost a lot more money. Brethren, P.O.
