Dismember

Misanthropic

Nuclear Blast

Just remember, if you don’t like the Entombed anymore there is always Dismember. In all seriousness, I have to say that this is an excellent release. The last Dismember album was good, but it just didn’t have the impact that it could have. It didn’t live up to the band’s potential. I say that because the band has fixed any problems they might have had; this release blows away their last release and it’s only got five songs! Within the first few notes of the first song, you can hear that the band has found some of the energy that it lost along the way. This album has everything you could want, incredible energy levels, and songs about killing people you do not like, ritual sacrifices and other death related topics. If you are one of those people that feels that the death metal that comes out today just isn’t what it used to be, then you might consider retracting that statement and picking this album up.
