Guitar Wolf

Planet of the Wolves

Matador

Remember those Flintstones days when you thought it would be cool to be in a rock band and be a caveman? The music you thought you’d be playing was something like Hanna-Barbera’s alarmingly catchy pop. The music you’d actually play is more like this. Raw and far from finished, Guitar Wolf is more about getting it all out than delivering. Sounding like it’s coming off the world’s crustiest monitor board, Planet of the Wolves creates so much sonic havoc that after listening to it at home, I check to make sure none of my furniture was smashed. It’s a dirty sound, a primal sound, the sound of fuckin’ punks trying out the riffs they figured out last practice. Don’t mess with the power. Allow Guitar Wolf to get it all out, all over your place. Put away the furniture first. Matador Records, 625 Broadway, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10012-2319
