“ascension”

Ascension

Years of Fire

Toybox

Sounds like the old hardcore band Pitbull. Droning deep-throat vocals, “metal” bass/ guitars, and fast drums. It’s really quite good if you are an Ohio metalhead. I think it’s kinda cheesy, how all the artwork is doom-based, but then again – Ascension seems to be all about cheesemetal.

The songs are kinda mediocre. They’re pretty basic “been done before” stuff. The whole 666 thing is getting lame. Everyone does it, because everyone else does it… Hail satan! (fabrics, that is… ) Toybox Records, 116 NW 13th St. #118, Gainesville, FL 32601
