The Means…

Cornerstone/Skunk

An interesting ska/funk hybrid that also incorporates turntables. The horns are outstanding, especially on “Blunt,” the music is all smooth and well executed, and the vocals are well-sung, I’m just not a big fan of funk. I like the ska-oriented parts, but the rest has too much funk and jazz influence for my tastes. Filibuster are clearly a musically solid band, they’re just not for me. I encourage those who embrace those styles to check this out, though. Cornerstone R.A.S., 6285 E. Spring St. #234, Long Beach, CA 90808
