Moonshine Mixed

Volume 2

Moonshine

Label head Steven Levy mixes twelve of his singles, offering Moonshine Mixed 2 as a budget-priced CD delving into the more-mature side of house. It starts off with the funky breaks of Dooberzone – I meant Uberzone’s remix of Elli Mac’s “Celebrate.” Top Kat’s “Feel Cool” works into Doc Martin’s aka Black Doktor “Lunatix” to EKO’s “Keep It Shining” and sexy Kelle’s “This Man.” Better yet are alternate mixes of Cirrus “Drop The Break,” the “E Klektick Slap Daddy mix,” Stateside’s “Find A Way,” and Cleveland Lounge’s “Drowning” on the D&B tip.

It’s odd that I don’t recall half of these singles. Maybe they were imports? It kind of has me looking forward to see what I’m liable to forget about this year’s singles. Thanks for reminding me to hunt down a copy of the Stateside double pack. Moonshine Music, 8391 Beverly Blvd., Suite 195, Los Angeles, CA 90048
