Tribe 8

Role Models for Amerika

Alternative Tentacles

Watch out! Tribe 8 is back and they’re louder and meaner than ever. The five woman band from San Francisco has a history of being one of the angriest bands around, but lead singer Lynn Breedlove has always laced it with a bit of humour, to help it go down smooth. Their latest offering features songs about prison life, Lorena Bobbitt, and they even weigh in on the very popular old school punk vs. new school punk, uh… debate. Tribe 8’s music is definitely not for the squeamish, or narrow minded. Role Models for Amerika is a tough and challenging album, just like the women who created it. Alternative Tentacles, P.O.
