Strung Out

Twisted By Design

Fat Wreck Chords

With the continued onslaught of Ventura County-based punk bands, Strung Out may now be considered veterans after six years in the biz. Yet Twisted is only their third-full length release. Not a bad gig… Put out an album every couple years or so, run a motocross video company, and in your spare time play in the band Pulley… Not bad at all…

Twisted by Design does not offer any surprises, which is half the fun of punk rock – plunk down your $15 and you can bet your hard earned dollar the SO CAL punk melodies will light up your speakers from start to finish. Strung Out keeps this straight-ahead sound for most of the album, taking time out only to increase your heart rate with full-blown hardcore on “Reason To Believe” and “Ice Burn.” Nothing is left intact after you crank these two!

Look for Strung Out on selected Warped Tour dates this summer, or contact the band directly with a SASE to: PO Box 4963 West Hills, CA 91308 Fat Wreck Chords, P.O. Box 460144, San Francisco, CA 94146
