There is a heaviness and a grittiness to this music that is inescapable, but very apropos. These guys can definitely rock your world, and they have some very heady things to say. They tell us, “Come on, let your blood come alive.” They obviously follow their own advice; the dozen tunes on this disk would make a tree stump get up and move around.
