Inner Circle

DaBomb

SoundBoy

Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do? There’s something interesting about the combination of soul and reggae, but to tell you honestly I can’t put my finger on it. Today’s reggae just doesn’t quite have the power and intensity of Bob Marley. Sure, a typical thing to say, but no one can deny it. DaBomb drags a little bit, but over all I feel it’s worth grabbing in a bargain bin somewhere. Speech (Arrested Development) lends vocals on “Speak My Language.” It’s by far the best track on the album. It hits that perfect harmony of rap, reggae, R&B, and a touch of soul. It’s African, Hey! Jamaican, Hey! European, Hey! What did you expect from the guys that ended up being known as the “the guys that do the Cops theme song”? http://www.innercircle-reggae.com
