Shutdown

Against All Odds

Hardcore from New York, what else could you need in life? Although this band did not hook me the way a lot of my hardcore purchases have, I will acknowledge that this is a good album. The band is as fast and as noisy as you could hope for, and if you are one of those people that has way too much inner turmoil in their life then this is the album for you. The singer sounds like a he was from a young DRI, the music is lots of chunky hardcore power chords, and although the music is good, they don’t quite have the flow to their songs that some of the seasoned veterans have. Granted, groups like Agnostic Front were no different when they started, so for that I will say more power to Shutdown. Shutdown, 2149 71st Street, Brooklyn, NY 11204; Shutdownyc@aol.com
