Adolescents

Return to the Black Hole

Amsterdamned

A complete live performance from the legendary Adolescents, recorded at the Country Club in Reseda, California in December 1989. That should speak for itself.

But if you’re not convinced that every punk household needs this vital Punk rock document, here are some of the songs from Tony Adolescent, Rikk Agnew, and the boys: “No Way,” “Word Attack,” “L.A. Girl,” “Brats in Battalions,” “Welcome to Reality,” “Rip It Up,” “Kids of the Black Hole,” and a cover of the Iggy Pop’s “I Got A Right.”

Could this have been the last punk rock performance of the 1980s? It’s quite possible, I’ll tell you where I was, I was in Melbourne, Florida enduring a most bizarre 17° winter. Everyone’s pipes froze while some lucky punks were over in sunny California letting loose all their pent-up energy watching the Adolescents, Hard-Ons, Jeff Dahl, and the Grim. Damn, I wish I’d been there! Triple X Records, P.O. Box 862529, Los Angeles, CA 90086
