The Loud Family

Days For Days

Alias

Although numbering eighteen, there’s really only nine tracks on this disc. Odd number tracks have no names and are puffy narrative reflections. Even number tracks do, and come together in a pleasant and twisty harmonious ensemble. The Loud Family borders on Beatles dissolved into a solution of Jethro Tull-ish cool acoustic riffs, honky tonk piano and grinding chord progressions where applicable. Whatever you call it, the eclectic, folksy concoction created is intoxicating and there’s not a bad song in the house. Alias Records, 2815 W. Olive Ave., Burbank, CA 91505
