A.C.

Picnic of Love

Off the Records

Two men singing love songs to the women they love. There is no screaming, insane metal guitars, bongos nor drums. The A.C. Dudes recorded a bunch of insipid, stupid, horrific acoustic love songs, they sing in high-pitched falsettos, and don’t laugh once. I couldn’t believe my ears. Dig these titles: “I’d Love to Have Your Daughter’s Hand In Marriage,” “I Couldn’t Afford to Buy You A Present (So I Wrote You This Song),” and “Saving Ourselves For Marriage.” It goes on, but I’ll spare you because I’d rather not have you vomit on this issue. The song that made me gag was “Greed Is Something We Don’t Need” that’s a plea from Mother Earth (guest female singer, too) for stopping all industrial activity. The Horror, the horror! Off the Records, P.O. Box 612213, North Miami, FL 33261-2213
