Atlantis: A Rock Opera

A serious rock opera about Atlantis. Funny, no credit to Ignatius Donnally or Madame Blavatsky. No matter, though, Atlantis is a monster of a project surprisingly well-done by two people and a host of electronics and analog instruments. The result is a “classic” rock opera along the lines of Richard Burton/ELO’s interpretation of the War of the Worlds. Is it about someone trying to communicate with the long lost inhabitants of Atlantis? Is it a direct channel from Zeus? One of the songs, “Critas,” is taken from Plato’s history of Atlantis, the only known writing that may, in fact, indicate that Atlantis once really was, only to be destroyed by hate… http://www.chrisdisalvatore.iuma.com
