Electric Frankenstein/The Hookers

Listen Up, Baby! Split CD

Man’s Ruin

Great double-up from two awesome speedy punk bands. I don’t know why, but the Electric Frankenstein, eight songs’ worth, side has their first singer, Steve Miller, on vocals (is this unreleased material?). It’s classic, irritated punk rock. The Hookers, who I’ve compared with Mötörhead mixed with Slayer, provide another eight songs worth blasting on a long haul on a big highway. Man’s Ruin Records, 610 22nd Street #302, San Francisco, CA 94107
