Johnny Thunders

The New Too Much Junkie Business

ROIR

Originally released on cassette in 1983, this is the first time Too Much Junkie Business is being released on CD. Johnny Thunders has always been remembered for being a junkie and complete mess in general, but this CD shows what a great rock and roll performer he was. Thunders shows his own brand of rock & roll, which mixed the spirit of mid-‘50s rock, such as Jerry Lee Lewis, with the ragged and rough rock of the late-‘70s NY scene. Containing live and studio tracks, TMJB shows the side of Thunders that should be remembered, the musician and entertainer. Boasting special guest from his old Heartbreakers cohorts to Wayne Kramer (MC5), you couldn’t ask for more out of a rock and roll album.

ROIR, 611 Broadway, Suite 411, New York, NY 10012
