Black Sheep II

Sacrifice

Rock’s Cool

Good, classic metal EP is telling of an album to come. According to their bio, Black Sheep, fronted by producer/writer/musician/everything Willie Basse, was/is a station for the entire LA metal scene. Lots and lots of people have played in Black Sheep (including Slash) and then, well, I guess it’s history.

Neverminding all that, Sacrifice is a fine four-song EP of good, heavy metal guitars and powerful vocals. Fans of Manowar and KISS (kind of sound like a mix of both – good effect, too) will especially dig “Love Warrior” and “Love’s Not Enuff.” These songs kick a lot of ass and, well, they’re really bombastic…
