Longer Waves

Ohio Gold

Longer Waves . An aptly titled release, as was their previous full-length, Meander + Return . Gorgeously fluid melodies unfold patiently herein. Like a mountain stream, they remain clear and pure. The paths they take vary according to the ever-changing terrain, but their nature remains true. Strums, percussion, voices, keys, all melded together in harmony with one another.

This is by no means straightforward. Twists and turns abound, but they are played so smoothly it’s somewhat deceptive. The players seem to have a clear understanding of structure and space. Beautifully done.
