Luxury Problem

Go Kart

The Lunachicks’ Luxury Problem rocks just as characteristically as any other ‘chicks record: muscular and rockin’ punk rock with major chops. Ass-kickin’ at any speed it chooses, the NYC band lands somewhere between the Dead Boys and early L7, albeit with more teeth and modern production. What sets the Lunachicks apart from their bra-burning contemporaries is their celebration of sexuality – surely feminist, but rooted more in reality and obviously a different ilk. As fun as it is serious, Luxury Problem stands gritty and tall, and miles beyond the commercial punk fodder.
