Kindercore

Hey, it’s time to find a big ole bus and paint it happy square colors, because Kincaid live up to the promise in their Partridge Family name and provide fourteen juicy, happy chunks of pop melody, the kind of music that sounds great on a moped. The opening “Solid, Jackson” quickly secured them a place in my heart with its bouncy yet introspective beat. And before you dismiss them as superficial, I have to note that there is no tambourine player here, just summery tunes to brighten up the middle of winter.
