Where Truth Is A Beacon

Blackbean & Placenta/Smilex

This is another sneaky little record. Dust it off and… Hey! So that’s the song that’s been running around my head lately. And there’s another one!

Great lyrics smack dab in the midst of some insidiously catchy indie rock melodies. Six sneaky ones and a disposable last track. Apparently limited to 500? That hardly seems fair. More people need to hear this.

The fact that the band Slaves to Sirens exists is impressive, but that they live, love, and breathe to play metal takes things to another level. Sirens documents the journey. Review by Charles DJ Deppner.
