Industrial – Music of the Shadows

Volume 3

K-Tel

The latest release from the compilation gurus, K-Tel, is a solid lesson in the roots of industrial music. With greats like KMFDM, Einstürzende Neubauten, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb… the list goes on. This one disc collection provides an arsenal of techno/industrial music for die-hards and newcomers alike. Of course, some of the tunes are the more known works of the bands, but there is enough variety to compensate. Overall, a great collection of artists, most of which are long-time veterans of the industrial music scene. The only letdown was not having any work by Front 242 on the album. If you’re looking for something along the techno/industrial/clubbeat scene, this one is sure to please.
