InfoPost.com

http://www.infopost.com

So, you wanna build a Web site devoted to your love of crossword puzzles. Or you need a photo that’s unique and one of a kind for your Web site on Chihuahuas. Better yet, you need some new information for your senior thesis on criminal law in the state of Montana. Well, have I ever got the place for you! InfoPost.com is the resource for just about anything digital that can be uploaded or downloaded via the Internet. Everything on this site can be used and shared for free or for a nominal fee set by whomever posts the information. It’s a wonderful place for aspiring artists, writers, photographers, graphic artists, or anybody that has information to be shared or sold. Within the “Browse by Media” section, you can search for whatever is needed in the categories of Video and Animation, Audio and Music, Software and System File, Image and Photo, Text and Document, Spreadsheet and Database and Web Page. In the “Browse By Channel” search you choices are Arts and Literature, Business and Finance, Computer and Internet, Education and Careers, Entertainment, Family, Kids and Pets, Games, Health and Fitness, Home and Garden, Law and Government, Lifestyles and Travel, Music and Audios, Photo and Design, References and Research, Sports and Recreation and a category for anything entitled “Misc.” I have been able to download a great collection of Robert Louis Stevenson poetry for my home schooling lessons and a whole collection of crossword puzzles for Windows for my crossword fanatic mother, so far. In the future, I plan on selling my photography through InfoPost.com, and I won’t even have to have my own webpage set up to do it.

Here’s how it works. You register with InfoPost for free, then upload your files into their inventory and set your price. When someone buys and downloads your files, they are charged your fee and InfoPost takes a 20% commission. When your account reaches $20.00 and over, you can, then, request a check to be made out to you from InfoPost and they mail your payment directly to you. To purchase the “info,” you use your credit card after adding items to your shopping cart and then the item is downloaded to your computer. Easy as that. A lot of the things I saw offered on this site were free for the taking, and the ones that were asking for a fee were very affordable (some only a dollar or two!) and within reason. The site is easy to navigate and has a world of information in just about every area you might need. Great Web site, and a very ingenious idea. Whomever came up with this idea is gonna be rich very, very soon, indeed. Great resource for home schoolers, students, and web designers who want something unique and different from the rest of the crowd.
