Barbarians

Kindercore

Nearly half a decade after collaborations with Eric Matthews (in Cardinal), these two modern-day Brian Wilsons continue to elaborate on their separate identities on solo careers. Barbarians provides plenty more soft summer rain pop, sometimes melancholy but never outright sad, sometimes amused but never quite ecstatic. Soft and enigmatic, Barbarians is fit for a mood.
