Basically the project of one Scott Phillips, this ten-song CD goes from medium-paced punk/rock, like the opener, “Hollywood Killed Elvis,” and “Finished Too Fast,” to indie pop like “Carbon Based World” and “My Life is Most Perfect,” and even the almost jazzy “Plus One” (featuring wickedly funny lyrics about the guest list game). Very nice.
