Cherry Bomb Club

Cherry Bomb Club

Divine Shaker

High-octane dance pop, featuring digital backdrops, some fuzz guitar, some boomy bass, and the talents of a harem of seductive singers. Cherry Bomb Club rises above other acts in a genre that is pretty generic by nature, a feat that calls for some further inspection. “School Girl Crush” strolls off with a Portishead beat, but then sweetens into a majestic chorus. Play “Amazing Grace” and watch pina colada orders skyrocket at the poolside bar. Interesting.
