Rhythm Motion Picture is an electronic album flavored with jazz and vocal samples that has its share of world music influences. Each track is very distinct, keeping the listeners ears alert. The predominant mood is very dreamy, some tracks even bordering on ambient. There are exceptions, such as the soulful “Superfly” and the upbeat “Hard Drive.” The complexity of the music on Rhythm Motion Picture allows for attentive listening but also lends itself well to subtle background playing.
