Fueled By Ramen

Five songs that spit out a bit of angry rock from the first beat. Think old school punk rock tempered by a little bit of ’90s post hardcore, and interestingly, a little bit of an Elvis Costello feel at times. The second song has some more dynamics thrown in, getting a little funky on the bass line, with the lyrics sung in a harsh ska sound. It moves back and forth like this, big city lyrics and a grit between the guitar strings. When it goes down to a steady drive between the bass and the drums, you get it, and when it explodes, you’re ready for it.
