Bubble

Bash Bish

Oomph!

Bubble’s brand of to-the-point-pop is easy to understand and appreciate. There’s “Scary Monster,” which reminds me of Split Enz’s “Dirty Creature” in more than its title. “Steer The Wheel” is a mid-tempo song, gentle in sound and character. “Thank You Goodnight” is a tongue-in-cheek overview of every band’s nightmares. Solid and approachable, Bubble’s songs are the kind that are easy to groove and sing along with. A solid pop album – if you remember and appreciate intelligent bands like the Sneetches and Jellyfish, you’ll flip for Bubble.
