The Sound of the Crowd

Why The West Wing Was My Favorite TV Show

Number 216 in a series:

LEO: I’m tired of it. Year after year after year, having to choose between the lesser of who cares. Of trying to get myself excited about the candidate who can speak in complete sentences. Of setting the bar so low I can hardly stand to look at it.

In the Shadow of Two Gunmen

I could watch that episode 5,000 times. I haven’t yet, but I have seen it at least four times and I’ve got the script in the first script book. Plus it’s in the second season which is coming out on DVD in a couple months, so I’m sure one of these years I will have watched it 5,000 times.

But with dialogue like that that makes your toes tingle, can you blame me?
