The Sound of the Crowd

Okay, Now We’re Worried

Okay, you know how some groups are concerned that new computerized voting systems will “eat” votes unless a paper trail is provided?

Although I share their concern, I admit it wasn’t a priority for me until I received a report from TrueMajority, Ben Cohen’s activism organization. In summarizing rallies that were held around the country, it says:

Washington

A crowd of 75 activists rallied across the street from the Snohomish County office building. Snohomish County Auditor Bob Terwilliger (the county’s top elections official) dropped in on the rally to debate the issue before the activists delivered their petitions to his office. Ironically, the auditor’s office provided the activists with a paper receipt for the delivery.”

That’s right…the top election official of Snohomish County is…Sideshow Bob. Who knows what diabolical scheme that evil genius might be concocting even as we speak?
